Help Now Strategies Practice

立即幫助策略是將身體的自主神經系統帶入更多能受自己管制,控制的狀態,例如注意景點或聲音,喝一杯水,或用手推牆。 SEE Learning 中的 9 個 Help Now 策略可以在課程的第 2 章中找到。
 

Help Now strategies are immediate tools for bringing the body’s autonomic nervous system into a more regulated state, such as attending to sights or sounds, drinking a glass of water, or pushing against a wall. The 9 Help Now strategies in SEE Learning can be found in Chapter 2 of the curriculum.

Script:
One-minute Help Now.
Take a moment to try one of the Help Now strategies, such as slowly drinking a glass of water, naming six colors that you see, or just looking around the room and noticing what catches your attention.
You could touch a piece of furniture or a surface near you, noticing its temperature and texture.
You could notice three sounds inside the room or three sounds outside of the room. 
You could walk around the room, noticing the feeling of your feet on the ground or you could slowly push your hands or back against a wall or door. 
Whichever you choose, notice what you feel on the inside as you do it. 
Is it pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral?
